Lyn Triffit, ASIM Editor, was recently awarded the Western Australian Science Fiction Foundation's "Tin Duck award" for professional achievement for her work editing ASIM Issue 11.
ASIM won the Australian Science Fiction Achievement Award (Ditmar) for Best AUSTRALIAN PRODUCTION (2003) and been twice nominated for Best AUSTRALIAN COLLECTED WORK.
ASIM's Editor-in-Chief, Robbie Matthews, has been awarded the Aurealis Peter MacNamara Award for Publishing and Editing.
